Cialis 2.5mg & 5mg tablets are a daily treatment used for impotence in men, also known as erectile dysfunction. The active ingredient is Tadalafil. It increases blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscle cells that make up the walls of blood vessels. Unlike as-required ED treatments, such as Viagra, Cialis Daily will allow for spontaneous sex. It is best-suited as a regular treatment for men who anticipate having sex at least three times per week.

If you have already successfully used Cialis, repeat supplies can be purchased online from The Independent Pharmacy, following a simple medical questionnaire. One of our doctors will review your order on the same working day – if they deem that Cialis is suitable for you, your order will be with you as soon as the next working day.

Usually, when a man is sexually stimulated, an enzyme called cGMP is released. This enzyme acts on the blood vessels in and around the penis, increasing the flow of blood and causing an erection. cGMP gets broken down by a chemical called phosphodiesterase type 5. Tadalafil blocks the activity of this chemical, allowing cGMP to be active for longer. To be effective, Cialis requires cGMP to be released, meaning sexual stimulation must still take place. Cialis Daily builds up gradually – it will reach its full effect after five days of treatment.

Erectile dysfunction may be a symptom of an underlying condition (e.g. diabetes, heart disease, atherosclerosis). Otherwise, it may be due to stress or performance anxiety. In any case, medicines such as Cialis can provide relief. If the cause of your ED is psychological, you may also benefit from counselling.

Cialis is produced by Lilly. It is available in the UK only with a prescription. It is safe to purchase online so long as the pharmacy is appropriately registered. Costs of private prescriptions tend to be lower online. Safe online pharmacies, such as The Independent Pharmacy, will require you to have a brief medical consultation. Do not purchase Cialis, or any prescription medicines, from websites that do not require this consultation. Cialis is a patented medicine – do not use websites that purport to sell unbranded, cheaper versions of Cialis.

There are a number of Non-Prescription Alternatives for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction such as;

  • Changes to diet (cutting down alcohol and fat consumption)
  • Stopping Smoking
  • Reducing Stress
  • Counselling
  • Vaccum Devices (Penis Pumps)
*Prescription medicines are supplied subject to a medical consultation at the discretion of a doctor.

Take one tablet at the same time each day. Your prescription may be changed depending on the effectiveness of Cialis, and on the extent of side effects. Cialis tends to remain effective up to 36 hours after a dose.

Do not skip doses. Do not take more than one tablet in one day, even if you have missed a dose.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it will reduce your blood pressure and may make you less likely to achieve an erection. Cialis requires sexual stimulation to be effective.

Not everyone will experience side effects when they take Cialis, however, if you do they may include:

A headache, congestion, back pain, indigestion, arm or leg pain, aches, facial flushing, visual disturbances

If you have a prolonged and painful erection, seek medical attention immediately.

If you are concerned about these effects, or if the product affects you in any other way, stop using it and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

The active ingredient contained in Cialis is:

Tadalafil

Cialis also contains the following inactive ingredients to make up the complete product:

Lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium laurilsulfate, lactose monohydrate, triacetin, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E172), talc

Reading the following warnings carefully will help to ensure you are selecting an appropriate product.

Cialis may be unsuitable for you if you suffer from any of the following conditions:

  • Heart disease
  • Sickle-cell anaemia
  • Leukaemia
  • Impaired liver function
  • Multiple myeloma
  • Kidney problems
  • High blood pressure
  • A blood clotting disorder
  • An allergy to any of the ingredients of Cialis

You may find Cialis ineffective if you have had pelvic surgery, especially surgery on the prostate.

Before taking Cialis, inform your doctor if you have taken or intend to take any of the following medicines:

  • Nitrates
  • Alpha-blockers or other blood pressure medicines
  • Riociguat
  • 5-alpha reductase inhibitors
  • HIV medicines
  • Antifungal medicines (e.g. ketoconazole)
  • Epilepsy medicines (e.g. phenytoin, carbamazepine)
  • Certain antibiotics (e.g. erythromycin, itraconazole)
  • Other erectile dysfunction treatments

You are advised to avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking Cialis, as it may affect the treatment and increase your risk of side effects.

Take care if drinking alcohol while taking Cialis. Alcohol may cause your blood pressure to fall, making you feel dizzy. Other recreational drugs such as cocaine can lead to serious side effects if you are taking Cialis, including permanent damage to erectile tissue.

If you have sex fewer than two times per week, Cialis 10mg or 20mg may be more suitable for you. You must have used Cialis successfully in the past in order to be prescribed Cialis daily.

Please read all packaging and the Patient Information Leaflet before taking any new medicine and inform your doctor of medicines you are taking or intend to take.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it possible to order Cialis online?

Cialis once daily tablets can be ordered online, here at The Independent Pharmacy. Get your package delivered straight to your door with fast delivery and discreet packaging you can rely on.

All orders are prescribed by doctors, who will require you to fill out a quick health questionnaire to assess if this medication will be suitable for you. Once this has been cleared you will be able to purchase yourCialis once daily pills online.

  • How can I order Cialis online safely?

Ordering medication online can be risky business, with some websites offering treatments over the internet without adhering to the required medical regulations. But if you order Cialis online through a reputable, UK based, online pharmacy, then you will remain safe.

Before tablets are sent out for delivery, all customers must first fill out a medical health questionnaire, asking about your symptoms and general health. Once this has been approved by one of our trusted medical professionals, your order will be sent out for delivery. Medical health check questionnaires ensure we are giving the right medical help to anyone who needs it.

  • Can Cialis and Viagra be taken together?

With so many different types of erectile dysfunction medication available online, it’s important to know how to take each kind of treatment, and which types of medication cannot be used together.

It is not advised to take Cialis and Viagra together, since these treatments can interact with each other and cause medical problems. Cialis contains Tadalafil Citrate as its active ingredient.

If you are unsure whether you can take Cialis and another type of medication together, speak to one of our medical professionals, who will be happy to advise you further.

  • Can Cialis cause heartburn?

It is possible for Cialis to cause heartburn and indigestion for some that take it. It can also cause stomach upsets in rare instances. If you are experiencing these side effects then it’s important to speak to a medical professional to rule out any other health issues.

If symptoms persist, take heartburn medication to ease these symptoms.

  • Does this treatment increase levels of testosterone?

There has been little real research to know whether Cialis increases testosterone levels in men. A few studies have shown that those taking this medication have exhibited higher testosterone levels, perhaps due to reduced estrogen levels in the body.

  • Is Cialis Daily available over the counter?

This medication is not currently available over the counter.

  • Does Cialis have a shelf life?

The shelf life or best before date of your medication will be clearly marked on the box.

  • Can Cialis Daily cause joint pain?

Joint paint is one of the less severe, and less common side effects of Cialis. The pain can occur anywhere, for example the knee. If the treatment affects you in this way, consult with your GP for the best cause of action.
