Inform your doctor or pharmacist of any medicines you are taking and intend to take.
Medicines such as Spedra can alter the effects of other medicines, and other medicines can also alter the effect of Spedra. Spedra can affect these medicines, and so you should not combine them:
Nitrate medicines such as amyl nitrate or glyceryl trinitrate, for chest pain.
Medicine for AIDS or HIV, such as indinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir, atazanafir, or nelfinavir.
Medication for fungal infections such as itraconazole, voriconazole, or ketoconazole.
Certain antibiotics such as clarithromycin or telithromycin
If you are using any of the following medications, inform your doctor or pharmacist before using Spedra:
Alpha-blockers for lowering of the blood pressure or prostate problems
Medications for treating arrhythmia, such as procainamide, quinidine, sotalol or amiodarone
Antibiotics such as erythromycin
Primidone, phenobarbital, or carbamazepine for epilepsy
Riociguat Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors which may prevent Spedra from breaking down inside the body. These include Aprepitant, diltiazem, amprenavir, fosamprenavir, fluconazole, and verpamil.
Do not combine Spedra with other treatments for erectile dysfunction, such as tadalafil, vardenafil, or sildenafil. Before using Spedra, make sure to read all the instructions and packaging.
