Ovex Tablet: Ovex tablets are designed to treat threadworm which can be a real burden for kids. If any member of your family has threadworms, you must purchase a family pack of Ovex to prevent re-infection. Please bear in mind that this is only a single dose so only take it if there are no other family members to worry about.
it is a common misconception that children can catch worms from pets. There is no need to treat animals at the same time as animals carry different worms that do not infect humans.
Threadworm is no laughing matter and if a member of your family has it, they must take Ovex immediately. Additionally, the rest of the family should also take an Ovex tablet to ensure that re-infection does not occur.
This is a single dose of the medication so you should consider a family pack. Each Ovex tablet contains Mebendazole which is an effective ingredient in the fight against threadworms.
Bear in mind that it will kill the threadworms but it may not kill the eggs which is why everyone in the family needs an Ovex tablet.
Eggs can be swallowed when they come in to conatct with the mouth and develop in to worms in the gut and lay eggs in the anus. The transfer of eggs to mouth completes the life cycle. Hand washing and hygiene regimes should be encouraged and hand to mouth contact discouraged.
