What is The Process for Testim Low Testosterone Treatment Online?
If you have not had Testim Gel treatment from us before then this is the process you need to follow:
Select the “Testim Gel Starter Kit”. This differs from the normal pack because it also contains two testosterone test kits needed to establish your blood testosterone levels before, and during, treatment.
Start your order and fill in the short medical questionnaire and proceed through the checkout process.
After review of your consultation our UK registered GP will require you to undergo some blood tests. This is to see if you are likely to benefit from testosterone replacement therapy, to measure your testosterone levels and to determine if treatment is safe for you.
Once the GP has approved your initial online consultation, a testosterone kit will be sent to you. This needs to be completed and sent off before treatment can be started. The test is easy to perform at home and is sent to The Doctor's Laboratory in London using the freepost envelope enclosed in the pack. The results are sent directly to us here within 4 hours of them receiving the tests.
Our UK GP will review your results and the answers from your questionnaire and either authorise or decline your request. If your request is declined, the total amount minus the cost of the home testosterone test kit (£35) will be refunded to you.
After the GP's approval, the Testim Gel and the 2nd home testosterone test kit is sent out to you.
The second testosterone test needs to be completed after 3 weeks of testosterone treatment. The results are assessed to ensure, for your health and safety, that the medication is having an effect.
Once the two tests have been performed in the first month. We will be sure that the medication is effective and a further test will needed in 6 months time and after that at yearly intervals.
The Testim Starter Pack price includes the following:

Testim gel is a clear gel which contains testosterone. Testosterone is a male hormone. Testim gel is applied to your skin (shoulders or/and upper arms) and testosterone is absorbed directly into your body through skin. It then enters your blood stream and helps to raise your testosterone to normal levels. The type of testosterone delivered into your body by Testim Gel is the same as the testosterone produced in your body.
Testim gel is used to replace testosterone in men who do not produce sufficient natural testosterone, a condition known as hypogonadism. Testosterone is made naturally in your body in your testicles and help to product sperm and develop and maintain the male sexual characteristics such as a deep voice and body hair. It is also necessary for normal sexual function and sex drive. Testosterone also helps to maintain muscle size and strength.
Testim gel is a medication which is used to replace testosterone for men suffering from hypogonadism – a condition in which the body cannot naturally produce enough testosterone. Testosterone is produced in the testicles and is responsible for sperm production, as well as the development of male characteristics such as facial hair and a deep voice. Testosterone also plays a vital role in sexual function and drive as well as the development and strength of muscle tissue.
Testim gel contains testosterone and can be applied directly to your skin, allowing it to be absorbed directly into your body. From here, it enters your bloodstream, topping up your levels of testosterone.
For males, testosterone plays a vital role in many facets of life, including:
A low production of testosterone can lead to further medical problems such as:
As men age, their natural testosterone production levels slowly decrease. If one or both testicles have to be removed, for example as a result of testicular cancer, then testosterone production will be drastically decreased. Other causes include a decrease in testicle function as a result of testicular disease, this is known as hypogonadism or eunuchoidism. Another cause is a decrease is gonadotrophin production by your pituitary gland which is caused by pituitary disease.
Treatments for replacing testosterone, such as Testim gel, should only be used by men who have been diagnosed by a doctor to have low levels of testosterone. Do not use Testim gel if your testosterone levels are normal as this may cause serious side effects and will provide you with no benefit.
Testosterone replacement medications can be used alongside medications for ED (erectile dysfunction), such as Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis.
Testim gel comes in the form of 5g tubes and each one contains 50mg of testosterone.
If you use testosterone gels it is possible to transfer it to other people if you come into skin contact with them. Because of this it is advised that you take precautions, especially around pregnant women and children. This is because testosterone can produce masculine symptoms such as the growth of facial hair and deepening of the voice. Always thoroughly wash your hands after applying the gel and try to cover the area where possible. You should take a shower before any close interaction, such as sexual intercourse. The gel should be left on for at least six hours before showering.
Before taking any testosterone replacement medication you will need to undergo blood tests. If you experience any of the following symptoms then you should contact your doctor immediately as it means that your testosterone levels are too high:
Increased testosterone levels can increase the rate at which prostate cancers grow. Because of this your doctor will perform a thorough examination of your prostate before beginning this medication. Once you have begun testosterone replacement therapy your doctor will want to continue with prostate exams at least every year.
The only way that levels of testosterone can be measured is via a blood test. Because levels of testosterone in the blood change throughout the day, multiple readings will need to be taken in order to know for sure. Early morning is usually the best time as this is when testosterone levels are highest.
Apply Testim Gel only to healthy, normal skin. Never apply Testim Gel to your genitals (penis and testes) or to skin that is broken or damaged and avoid contact with open sores, wounds or irritations.
Apply Testim Gel at the same time each day (preferably every morning). Apply the contents of one (1) of gel (or as directed by the GP) on the shoulders and/or upper arms, every morning as instructed by your doctor.
If you take a bath or shower in the morning, use Testim Gel after your bath or shower. Make sure that your shoulders and/or upper arms are clean and completely dry before putting on the gel.
Open the Testim Gel aluminium tube by piercing the end of the tube with the top part of the cap. Squeeze the entire contents of the tube into the palm of your hand. Squeeze the gel out from the bottom of the tube towards the top. Apply Testim Gel only to your shoulders and/or upper arms as a thin layer. In this way your body will absorb the right amount of testosterone. Use a circular motion to rub the gel in to your skin for several seconds. Do this until no gel is left on the skin area.
Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water immediately after application. This will also reduce the chance that the medicine will spread from your hands to other people. Let Testim Gel dry for a few minutes before you dress. This prevents your clothing from wiping the gel off your skin and ensures that your body will absorb the correct amount of testosterone.
If you wash the application site within 6 hours after applying Testim Gel you may lower the amount of testosterone that is absorbed by your body. Therefore, wait at least 6 hours after applying the gel before showering or swimming to ensure that the greatest amount of Testim Gel is absorbed into your body.
Most people will not suffer from any adverse side effects as a result of using Testim gel, however some common potential side effects include:
If you experience any side effects not listed here or have any further concerns about Testim gel then you should contact your doctor immediately.
Before using Testim gel you should read the following warnings.
Testim gel should only be used by men who are over the age of 18. Women or children should avoid coming into contact with any parts of the body that have been applied with Testim gel. This product should not be used by women of any age.
Testim gel should not be used if:
Before using Testim gel you should speak to your doctor if:
Any of the conditions listed above may become aggravated when using Testim gel – for this reason you should fully inform your doctor before usage.
If, after applying Testim gel to your skin, you develop a negative reaction to the gel, then cease usage and contact your doctor immediately.
If you are a competing athlete then it is important to bear in mind that Testim gel may produce positive results in doping tests. Testosterone should not be used by healthy individuals as a way to improve strength or muscle mass.
Always inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications as they will be in a better position as to advise you going forward. Testim gel can affect other medicines, and for this reason your dosing may need to be altered. If you are taking any of the following then this is particularly important:
It is possible that treatments with testosterone may affect your body’s level of the hormone thyroid. The thyroid gland is responsible for regulating your body’s metabolism and general growth and is located in the neck. These small changes in thyroid levels should not have any overall negative affect on you.
Propylene glycol is present in Testim gel and this may irritate your skin.
Measures should be taken to avoid spreading Testim gel to other individuals, especially women and children. This can increase their testosterone levels and lead to unwanted side effects. Here are some tips to avoid transferring the gel onto other people:
What should you do if you unintentionally expose someone to Testim gel?
If someone becomes exposed to your Testim gel then you should thoroughly wash the area of contact immediately to avoid absorption. The longer Testim gel is left on the body the more testosterone will be absorbed. This is even more important if coming into contact with pregnant women and children.
If they develop any symptoms associated with increased levels of testosterone, such as increased hair growth or acne, then they should contact their doctor immediately.
Before undergoing any treatment you should always read all available information in order to make sure you are making a fully informed decision.
