Buy Tamiflu Antiviral Flu Treatment Online
Tamiflu is a prescription antiviral medication containing oseltamivir, which helps treat and prevent the flu. It works by stopping the virus from spreading in your body. This means your immune system has a better chance to fight it off faster than it would if it were able to spread.
The sooner you take Tamiflu, the more effective it is. Ideally, you’d take it within the first day or two of your symptoms starting. By taking it early, you may both reduce the severity of your symptoms and shorten the duration of your illness.
This treatment requires an online consultation for review by our medical team. The decision to supply the specific treatment and quantity requested will be based on whether our medical team are satisfied that it will be safe, appropriate, and effective.
About Tamiflu Antiviral Flu Treatment
Tamiflu is an antiviral medication used to treat and prevent influenza A and B. It’s suitable for adults with flu symptoms, and can shorten how long you feel unwell for. If you’ve been exposed to someone with the flu, you can also use Tamiflu as a preventative medication.
Tamiflu is not a replacement for the flu vaccine, but it can offer extra support throughout flu season if you develop symptoms or have been around someone else with the flu.
How Does Tamiflu Flu Treatment Work?
Tamiflu targets infected cells in your body and prevents new viral particles from leaving these infected cells and spreading to other areas of your body. By containing the virus early in its development, Tamiflu can reduce the severity of your symptoms as well as how long you feel unwell for. It helps your immune system to fight the flu virus and gives you a better chance of recovering faster.
How To Take Tamiflu
If you’re treating flu symptoms, you’ll take one 75mg capsule twice daily for five days. Typically, you’ll want to take one in the morning and one in the evening, spreading them out evenly so it continues to work between doses.
If you’ve only been exposed to someone else with the flu, you’ll take one 75mg once a day for 10 days, usually in the morning with breakfast. It’s important to finish the full course of Tamiflu, even if you start to feel better. This helps to make sure that the flu virus is totally gone before you stop taking them.
Please ensure that you read the Patient Information Leaflet thoroughly before taking Tamiflu.
Ingredients
The active ingredient in Tamiflu is called oseltamivir phosphate, and each capsule contains 75mg. To help the medicine to work effectively, each capsule also contains inactive ingredients. These include pregelatinised starch, talc, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, and sodium stearyl fumarate. The shell of the capsule is made out of gelatin, titanium dioxide, and red and yellow iron oxide colourings. The printing ink also contains shellac (E904), titanium dioxide (E171) and FD and C Blue 2 (indigo carmine E132).
Side Effects
As with all medications, Tamiflu can cause some unwanted side effects. Not everyone gets them, so you may get some or you may avoid them altogether. Common side effects include headaches, nausea, and stomach pain. These are usually mild and get better quickly - your body just needs to adjust to the medicine. Taking Tamiflu with food can help to reduce the likelihood you’ll feel sick.
Severe reactions can include allergic reactions, difficulty breathing or swelling. If you notice these or any of the other severe reactions listed in the patient information leaflet, seek immediate medical attention.
Warnings
You shouldn’t take Tamiflu if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients, including oseltamivir. Let our clinical team know if you have kidney issues, as your dose may need adjusting to make it safe for you to take. You should also let them know if you are pregnant, trying for a baby, or breastfeeding, as Tamiflu may not be right for you.
Tamiflu is not effective against COVID-19, as it only treats and prevents the influenza virus.

Tamiflu Antiviral Flu Treatment FAQs
How Quickly Does Tamiflu Work?
Tamiflu doesn’t provide immediate symptom relief, but instead it prevents the virus from spreading throughout your body. By working in the background, targeting infected cells, it can help your immune system fight the infection quicker and more effectively. This can reduce how long you feel unwell, and limit how severe your symptoms are.
The key with Tamiflu is starting it within 48 hours of you noticing flu symptoms. While the virus is spreading through your body, it’s easier to control. When too much time has passed it may be less effective as the virus has already spread too far.
If you experience flu symptoms, or have been exposed to someone with the flu, getting and using Tamiflu as soon as possible is important. The quicker you start treatment, the better chance you have of feeling better faster and avoiding further complications.
Is Tamiflu An Antibiotic?
Tamiflu is not an antibiotic, but it’s an antiviral medication specifically designed to tackle influenza viruses. Whereas antibiotics treat bacterial infections, Tamiflu works to treat and prevent viral infections. You shouldn’t use Tamiflu as a substitute for antibiotics as it won’t work.
Can Tamiflu Prevent The Flu?
Tamiflu can help to prevent you developing the flu if you’ve been around someone who has it. The way it works is you take one 75mg capsule once a day for 10 days, and it stops the virus from spreading before it has a chance to make you sick.
It’s important to remember though, that Tamiflu is not a substitute for the flu vaccine. It can offer short term protection but getting the flu vaccine each year is still the best form of protection against the virus.
Can I Take Tamiflu If I'm Pregnant Or Breastfeeding?
If you're pregnant, trying for a baby, or breastfeeding, you need to speak to a healthcare professional before taking Tamiflu. Our licensed UK clinical team can decide if Tamiflu is right for you. The effects on breast-fed infants are unknown, so your doctor will weigh up the benefits and possible risks to you and your baby. If you’re at higher risk of developing complications from the flu, they may prescribe Tamiflu, but you should only ever take it under medical supervision.
How Long Are You Contagious After Taking Tamiflu?
Tamiflu doesn’t stop you from being contagious, so you should be careful about exposing others as long as you have symptoms. Avoid close contact with others until you’ve fully recovered. To avoid transmitting it to other people you should also wash your hands often, and cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing.
Can I Drink Alcohol While Taking Tamiflu?
There’s no known direct interaction between Tamiflu and alcohol, but that doesn’t mean you should drink while taking Tamiflu. Alcohol can worsen flu symptoms such as tiredness, dehydration, and dizziness, and this can impact your recovery. It can also mean it takes longer before you feel better. It’s safer to wait until you’re well again before drinking alcohol.
What's The Difference Between Tamiflu And Over-The-Counter Flu Remedies?
Over-The-Counter (OTC) remedies usually only mask the symptoms of flu, managing how you feel rather than treating the underlying cause. OTC medications ease symptoms like fever, aches, or a blocked nose. Tamiflu fights the actual virus that causes the symptoms. It stops the virus from spreading in your body, and so can reduce how long you're sick for.
How Do I Know If I Have The Flu And Need Tamiflu?
Tamiflu only works on the influenza virus, which is why it’s so important to try and figure out what virus you have - COVID-19, colds, and the flu all have overlapping symptoms.
If you have the flu, it likely came on very suddenly. You may have a fever and experience body aches and chills. You may also have a headache, along with a dry cough and a sore throat. And if that isn’t enough, you could find it difficult to manage daily tasks due to weakness and tiredness.
A cold, on the other hand, is usually milder and comes on more slowly. You’re less likely to have the fever or body aches, but may have a runny nose, sneezing, and a sore throat.
COVID-19 may feel similar to the flu, but you may have a loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath, or chest tightness.
Knowing what you have is important to make sure you get the right treatment and can work on getting better faster.
Can Tamiflu Treat COVID-19?
Tamiflu is an antiviral medication that has been designed to target influenza viruses. Coronaviruses are completely different, and therefore Tamiflu will have no effect on you if you have COVID-19. If you’re unsure which illness you’re dealing with, it’s important to get tested. Different conditions require different treatments, so knowing what you have is essential for effective treatment.
