How to take Nystan

Before taking any medication you should always read the Patient Information Leaflet thoroughly.
- Adults over 18 years old should take a 1ml dose of nystatin, 4 times a day.
- Using the measuring dropper, drop a dose of liquid into the mouth, swill the contents around your mouth and throat slowly and then swallow.
- It’s recommended that you take the medication after eating food.
- If you forget to take a dose then take your missed dose as soon as you remember, but do not take two doses at the same time.
- You should continue to use the treatment 4 times a day for 48 hours after your symptoms have cleared to avoid becoming reinfected.
- If your symptoms do not improve or have worsened within 14 days of treatment you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist for advice.
