Daktarin Aktiv dosage

Daktarin Activ should be used twice a day until your affected areas of skin look normal.

If your symptoms are not resolved within 7 days you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Daktarin Aktiv Powder ingredients

Active ingredients: contains 0.16% w/w (1.6mg per gram) of Miconazole nitrate

Also contains: Talc, Ethanol, Sorbitan sesquiloleate, Stearalkonium hectorite and a Hydocarbon proppellant

Daktarin Aktiv Powder side effects

Rarely, the skin where you apply the spray can become irritated, or if you have used too much. If irritation seems serious to you, stop using the spray and talk to your doctor. If you notice any other side-effects not listed here, please tell your pharmacist or doctor.

Very rare: Stop using the spray and contact your doctor straight away if you get swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, have itchy skin or difficulty breathing.

You may be allergic to Daktarin Aktiv spray powder if you get a rash, itching, redness, swelling or a burning feeling anywhere on your body each time you use it.

Daktarin Aktiv Powder warnings

• Daktarin Aktiv Powder is not suitable for the treatment of fungal skin infections anywhere other than on the feet.
• Do not use if you are allergic to the activ substance, or any other substances listed in the ingredients section
  
• Do not use the spray on broken skin, nails and hair. Avoid contact with eyes, nose or other openings of your body.
• Inhaling the spray might irritate your airways. If a large amount is breathed in, see a doctor straigh away.
  
• If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnanact please consult your doctor before using this product.
• If you are currently or have recently been taking any other regular medication you should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before commencing treatment with Daktarin Aktiv Powder.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use after the expiry date on the base of the can.

Caution flammable: pressurised container. Do not pierce or burn even after use. Do not spray on or near naked flames or materials that are glowing hot. (Incandescent) Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Do not place or spray the container on or near polished or painted surfaces.
