In most cases, you should take one 10mg dose as soon as possible after your migraine has started. It cannot be used to prevent an attack. Do not take more than two doses.

A 5mg dose may be prescribed if you take anti-anxiety medications or have kidney or liver problems. Do not take more than two doses in one day.
