Professional Background & Qualifications

Malgorzata graduated from a Medical University in Poland, completing a Master’s degree in Pharmacy as well as a postgraduate clinical qualification before moving to the UK in 2005. She initially worked in community pharmacy and subsequently spent nearly 18 years with the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), where she held various roles, including medicines management, care home pharmacist, practice pharmacist, and urgent care pharmacist. During this time, she completed her independent prescribing course at the University of Bath. She currently works part-time in a GP practice.

Areas of Expertise & Current Role

In her role as an online pharmacist, Malgorzata focuses primarily on dermatology, managing common skin conditions. She also prescribes for a range of other conditions within the services provided by The Independent Pharmacy, including women’s health, travel and general health concerns. She provides remote consultations, advises patients on treatment options, monitors therapy outcomes and ensures the safe and effective use of medicines within clinical guidelines.

In her GP practice, she works as a clinical pharmacist, managing long-term conditions including cardio-renal metabolic disease, elderly care and polypharmacy. She supports patients by reviewing medications, optimising treatment plans, conducting patient consultations, and providing education to promote adherence and self-management. She also actively trains and mentors pharmacy and medical students in primary care.

Malgorzata is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle through diet, physical activity and social connection, with a particular interest in how nutrition impacts overall well-being.

In her free time, Malgorzata enjoys travelling, particularly to explore museums, galleries and admire great architecture. She has a keen interest in the history of art, especially modern art, and regularly attends exhibitions. She also enjoys indulging her love of food while travelling, taking long walks, practising yoga, and savouring some alone time with a good book.
