Mounjaro Price Change Update

You may have seen in the news that from September 1st 2025, the manufacturer of Mounjaro will be increasing the UK price for all doses. This is an industry-wide change, taken out of our hands, and will affect all regulated providers of Mounjaro in the UK.
We are doing our best to ensure that the stock we have available to us will last as long as possible to delay the price increase. Regrettably, since this change has been implemented by the manufacturer, we will need to revise our prices accordingly. We will share information on the new pricing and when it will begin with you as soon as we are able to.
We understand this is unwelcome news, which is going to raise many questions. We also recognise the impact it may have on your weight loss journey, making it difficult for you to plan ahead.
Our priority is to support you throughout your treatment, and whilst we work hard to find the best possible price for you, we understand that you may be considering other options, our clinical team will help you choose the safest and most effective path forward. In the mean time we will keep this helpful page updated with information as we have it
Mounjaro Price Increase FAQs
Why is the price of Mounjaro going up?
This is a national price increase set by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, it affects all suppliers and pharmacies across the UK from 1st September. We will keep the current price for as long as possible but stock is limited. The current price will maintain until at least 31st August.
What are my options?
- Continue your current Mounjaro treatment
- Adjust to a lower dose of Mounjaro (if clinically appropriate)
- Switch to another treatment, such as Wegovy
Can I take smaller doses to make my pen last longer?
No - taking unsupervised, smaller doses (micro-dosing and “click counting”) has never been clinically tested and can lead to inaccurate dosing, unpredictable side effects, pen breakage, and possible long-term health risks.
Can I buy multiple pens or order early to avoid the price increase?
Unfortunately not, Mounjaro is a prescription medication, it can only be supplied according to your treatment schedule. This means we can only dispense your next pen once you’ve completed three doses from your current pen, to ensure your treatment remains safe and clinically appropriate. We want to ensure everyone gets fair access to ongoing treatment so we cannot allow stock piling.
Can I buy a dose I’m not on yet?
If it’s part of your normal titration schedule (i.e. one dose up or down), yes, but you cannot skip a dose or buy a dose that you are working towards unless it is your next direct medication increase or decrease.
Is Wegovy an alternative option for me?
We have a number of informative guides including Mounjaro v. Wegovy comparison guide or how to switch from Mounjaro to Wegovy, which will answer many of your questions, you will find other helpful guides on our dedicated price change hub.
Are you still delivering orders as normal?
Yes we are, but we are currently seeing an increase in demand and as such your delivery may take slightly longer than normal to dispatch. You should still expect to receive your order within 1 - 3 working days of placing it and it will be delivered in temperature-controlled packaging on a Tracked 24 delivery as usual.
