What are Kalms Day Stress Relief Tablets and how do they work?

Kalms Day works through its active ingredient, valerian root, and is used to relieve mild symptoms of stress, including irritability, anxiety and general stress. Kalms Day Tablets are also used to aid sleep.

Valerian root is a herbal supplement that has been used for centuries to promote relaxation and it is derived from the roots of the Valeriana officinalis plant, which is native to Europe and Asia.
How to take Kalms Day Stress Relief Tablets

Kalms Day Tablets are intended for use by adults and the elderly.

They are not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years old.

Take 2 tablets up to 3 times a day with water after meals.
Kalms Day Stress Relief Tablet ingredients

Active ingredients per coated tablet:

26mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis L.) (equivalent to 104–130mg of Valerian root) Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60% v/v.

The other ingredients are:

Extract: Maltodextrin, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.

Core: Hops Extract, Acacia (Spray-dried), Icing Sugar, Magnesium Stearate, Maize Starch, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Stearic Acid.
Coating: Acacia (Spray-dried), Calcium Carbonate (Light), Carnauba Wax, Talc, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide E171, Yellow Beeswax.
Kalms Day Stress Relief Tablet side effects

Like all medicines, this product can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The following side effects have been reported:
- Nausea (feeling sick)
- Vomiting
- Abdominal Cramps
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhoea
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nightmares or vivid dreams
If you experience any of the side effects above and they persist for several days, stop using this product and contact your doctor.
Kalms Day Stress Relief Tablet warnings

Do not take Kalms Day if you are:
- Allergic to any of the ingredients
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Under 18 years old
- Already taking a medicine for stress or anxiety
- Taking a medicine that makes you sleepy
This product can potentially make the user feel sleepy or drowsy. If you feel these effects, do not drive or use heavy machinery.

Alcohol can potentially increase the sedative effects of this medicine. As such, it is recommended that drinking alcohol is avoided whilst taking this medicine.
