Selsun Dandruff Shampoo 2.5% is a dandruff shampoo that is a little more powerful than average brand shampoos. If you still have dandruff or suffer from scalp conditions after using other shampoos, Selsun Dandruff Shampoo may provide the solution you need.
The active ingredient in Selsun Dandruff Shampoo is selenium sulphide, which has a proven effect on dandruff.
Selenium sulphide targets dermatophytes, which are a type of fungus. Selenium sulphide also decreases the production of skin cells on the skin’s surface, and reduces the natural oil (sebum) that covers the skin.
Scaling skin conditions such as seborrhoeicc dermatitis are caused by fungi, which cause inflammation.
By killing the fungus that causes inflammation, selenium sulphide reduces dandruff, and alleviates the itchy and scaly symptoms associated with suborrhoeicc dermatitis.
Common causes of dandruff are the amount of grease on the scalp, and the growing of skin cells on the scalp. This shampoo reduces both of these, and so prevents dandruff.
Selsun Dandruff Shampoo is highly potent, and so should not be used every day. When used just a couple of times weekly, it can have a huge effect on dandruff.
Avoid contact with eyes
