How does After Bite Classic - 14ml Pen work?

After Bite Classic is a handy treatment pen which helps to soothe itching and irritation caused by insect bites and stings. It works against bites and stings from mosquitos, horse flies, bees, wasps, jellyfish, and irritation caused by nettle rash. After Bite is perfect for when you are out and about, as the handy pen can easily be stored in a pocket.

Alternatives to After Bite Classic - 14ml Pen

Though they are primarily used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever, antihistamines like Piriton Allergy Tablets can help to alleviate the pain, itching and inflammation caused by a bite or a sting. Piriton contains chlorphenamine, which (like mepyramine maleate) blocks the histamine receptors in your body and helps to relieve the symptoms of an allergic reaction.

How do I apply After Bite Classic - 14ml Pen?

For external use only.

For use on adults and children over 3 years of age.

How to use

  • Shake well before use.
  • Using a circular action, rub the affected area with the applicator as soon as possible after the bite.
  • Prompt use gives the best results.
  • Do not bandage or cover until dry.
  • If discomfort persists or recurs repeat the application.
  • Replace the cap after each use.

Contains: Aqua, Sodium bicarbonate, Ammonia, Glycerin

After Bite Classic - 14ml Pen warnings

Do not use After Bite if you have a known sensitivity to ammonia.

Avoid contact with the eyes and the mouth. If this should occur rinse well with water. If rash, redness, irritation, swelling or pain increases or worsens after application, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

In case of accidental ingestion do not induce vomiting. Drink milk and citrus juices and consult a doctor.

Harmful to aquatic life with lasting effects.

Best used within 12 months of opening.
