Biofreeze Gel Summary

Biofreeze Gel Information

What is Biofreeze Gel?

Biofreeze long-lasting pain relief gel is a topical cold therapy treatment for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains caused by sore muscles, backache, joint pain and arthritis. Biofreeze Gel is applied to the skin over the affected areas 3 - 4 times a day and is suitable for use by children and adults over the age of 2 years.

How does Biofreeze Gel work?

Biofreeze uses cold technology, which is applied to the skin surrounding painful, inflamed or stiff muscles and joints. By applying the gel to these areas, Biofreeze blocks the pain signals from being able to reach the brain and decreases the blood flow, which reduces any swelling.

Alternatives to Biofreeze Gel

Biofreeze Gel is a cold therapy pain relief gel that is suitable for children and adults to help combat minor aches and pains. Biofreeze Gel is a useful treatment option for people who are unable to use other pain-relieving treatments such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or paracetamol due to underlying health conditions. Or to be used in conjunction with oral pain killers to offer additional relief.
