Canesbalance Bacterial Vaginosis Vaginal Pessaries information

What Are Canesbalance Bacterial Vaginosis Vaginal Pessaries?

Canesbalance Bacterial Vaginosis Vaginal Pessaries combine a prebiotic and postbiotic to relieve symptoms of bacterial vaginosis in women.

Canesbalance not only helps to regulate the pH level in the vagina, but also restricts the growth of bad bacteria whilst actively supporting the growth of good bacteria.

Canesbalance provides enough pessaries for a 7 day treatment, but you can also buy Canesbalance in gel form, if that is more suitable for you.

What Are Common Bacterial Vaginosis Symptoms?

Common symptoms of bacterial vaginosis (BV) include:

  1. Unusual Vaginal Discharge: Often a thin, grayish-white discharge, which may be more noticeable after sexual activity.
  2. Strong or Fishy Odor: A noticeable fishy smell, which can be stronger after intercourse or during menstruation.
  3. Vaginal Itching or Irritation: Some may experience mild itching or irritation in the vaginal area, though this is less common.
  4. Burning Sensation During Urination: Discomfort or a slight burning feeling when urinating.

However, it's also common for some people with BV to have no symptoms at all. If symptoms are present or there’s any concern, it’s recommended to consult a healthcare provider for diagnosis and treatment.

How to use Canesbalance Vaginal Pessaries

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Canesbalance

  1. Remove 1 pessary from the foil wrapper. The pessary should not be divided as it is intended for single use.
  2. Insert the pessary deeply into the vagina using your finger. It is best to use this product at bedtime. If you are suffering from BV for the first time or if you are pregnant, it's best to see your doctor.

Canesbalance Vaginal Pessaries Ingredients

Each pessary contains the following ingredients: Macrogols, Lactic acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycogen, pH 3.6-4.2. Canesbalance contains no preservatives, is hormone free and has no perfume.

Canesbalance Vaginal Pessaries Warnings

Canesbalance BV Vaginal Pessaries can be used during pregnancy. However, you should see your doctor if you think you may have a vaginal infection during pregnancy.

Avoid using Canesbalance if you are trying to conceive, as the pessary has a low pH which can make the environment less suitable for sperm.
