    Robitussin Chesty Cough Medicine 250ml helps is a sugar free cough syrup to relieve persistent chesty coughs by controlling the cough reflex and providing a soothing effect. This medicine is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years to soothe deep, chesty coughs. Always follow the directed usage instructions. If your cough is accompanied by any illness, remember to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. If you're experiencing pain or a fever alongside your cough, it's safe to take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen with Robitussin.

    The active ingredient in Robitussin Chesty Cough Medicine is guaifenesin, which belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants.     This product is for oral use only. Robitussin is NOT suitable for children under the age of 12.

    Adults, the elderly and children over the age of 12: take 10ml up to 4 times daily, as required.

    Active ingredients: Each 5ml dose contains: Guaifenesin 100mg

    Also contains: Maltitol (E965), Sorbitol Solution 70%, Ethanol (96%) 2.7% v/v

    Like all medicines, Robitussin Chesty Cough Medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. If you experience any of the following, discontinue using this product and seek advice from your doctor:

    • Allergic reactions such as, itchy skin or rashes, difficulty breathing, faster heart rate or swelling of the face or throat
    • Stomach upset
    • Dizziness, drowsiness mental confusion
