Spedra Tablets (50mg, 100mg & 200mg)

There are three dosages of Spedra available. These are 50mg, 100mg, and 200mg tablets. The 100mg option is recommended for men beginning Spedra treatment. The other dosages are for men who find the response to the 100mg tablets either too weak or too strong.

Spedra can take as little as 15 minutes, or as long as 90 minutes, to work. This variation depends on how full the stomach is. On an empty stomach, absorption will be very fast, whilst on a full stomach it can take a while.

You should take Spedra on an empty stomach where possible. If you have recently eaten, especially if it was a large meal, this may delay the absorption of the tablet and mean it can take 60 - 90 minutes to reach its full effect.

Spedra is a much faster treatment than Viagra. Viagra must be taken 1 hour before sex, whilst Spedra can work as quickly as 15-30 minutes after consumption.

Both treatments last a similar amount of time – about 4 - 5 hours.

Note that this does not mean that you will maintain an erection for this amount of time, but that your ability to achieve and maintain an erection will be improved during this time.

Taking Spedra after a large meal can delay its effects.

You should not take any other erectile dysfunction treatments or tablets with Spedra or within 24 hours of taking it. If you find that Spedra tablets are not as effective as you would like, you should consider increasing your dose if on a lower strength.

Spedra tablets are a prescription-only erectile dysfunction. • Medicine for AIDS or HIV, such as indinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir, atazanafir, or nelfinavir.
• Medication for fungal infections such as itraconazole, voriconazole, or ketoconazole.
• Certain antibiotics such as clarithromycin or telithromycin

If you are using any of the following medications, inform your doctor or pharmacist before using Spedra:

• Alpha-blockers for lowering of the blood pressure or prostate problems
• Medications for treating arrhythmia, such as procainamide, quinidine, sotalol or amiodarone
• Antibiotics such as erythromycin
• Primidone, phenobarbital, or carbamazepine for epilepsy
• Riociguat Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors which may prevent Spedra from breaking down inside the body. These include aprepitant, diltiazem, amprenavir, fosamprenavir, fluconazole, and verapamil

Do not combine Spedra with other treatments for erectile dysfunction, such as tadalafil, vardenafil, or sildenafil. Before using Spedra, make sure to read all the instructions and packaging.
