Mouth ulcers are common, but can be incredibly uncomfortable for sufferers. Iglu Mouth Ulcer Treatment gel is able to treat mouth ulcers quickly, reducing pain and decreasing discomfort. Iglu Mouth Ulcer Treatment can also be used to reduce the pain of denture rubbing and sore gums. Iglu works to speed up your natural healing process and also protects against future irritation and damage. Iglu gel is completely sugar free and tastes of mint.

Iglu gel works by creating a layer over the affected area, providing your problem areas with a barrier to prevent any irritants. Iglu is an adhesive, meaning that your mouth’s natural moisture and saliva will not wash it away. The medicine contained in Iglu gel will not be able to work if the gel washes away. This is why eating and drinking can be particularly problematic, especially acidic and spicy foods, as these can even increase your symptoms.

Iglu Mouth Ulcer gel works by creating a protective layer over sores in your mouth. This can be particularly effective for protecting exposed nerve endings within the ulcer against potentially irritating food and drink. The gel also helps to protect the underlying tissue as it attempts to heal itself naturally.

This barrier seals in the painkilling and antiseptic components, helping to numb the area - reducing pain while simultaneously fighting the infection. The painkilling component is known as lidocaine hydrochloride and the antiseptic component is known as aminoacridine.

Iglu gel can provide your mouth with protection for up to one hour, even if you eat or drink during this time. Iglu gel can also be used in conjunction with Iglu sugar free pastilles, specifically designed to reduce any discomfort associated with mouth ulcers.

Mouth ulcers can be incredibly uncomfortable and have a variety of causes, some of these include:

  • Allergies
  • Injury to the mouth
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Skin diseases

Mouth ulcers are an incredibly common condition, with most people experience at least one during their lifetime. Mouth ulcers are not contagious and cannot be passed on to other people.

Pharmacist Tip

You can use an antiseptic mouthwash in conjunction with Iglu Mouth Ulcer gel in order to aid in cleaning your mouth and preventing ulcers from returning.

Regularly using an antiseptic mouthwash can help to prevent mouth ulcers from reoccurring.
