How does Gaviscon Advance work?

Gaviscon Advance creates a protective barrier, preventing stomach acid from refluxing into the esophagus (food pipe).

Gaviscon understand the discomfort caused by heartburn and acid reflux, which is why Advance is engineered for lasting relief (up to 4 hours) to allow you to carry on with your day.

With twice the concentration of sodium alginate, Gaviscon Advance features an extra strength formula, forming a robust 'raft' for added resilience.

Moreover, Advance boasts the lowest sodium content among all Gaviscon products.

Gaviscon Advance Liquid Heartburn Relief dosage

Only to be used orally. Shake well before use.

Adults and children 12 years and over, take 5-10 ml (one to two 5 ml spoonfuls)) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.

Children under 12 years: Should only be taken on medical advice.

If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Do not use this product after the expiry date (month/year).
