Buy Evorel Conti Patches Online

Evorel Conti Patches are one option in the Evorel hormone replacement therapy range, but what makes this choice unique is that it combines both estradiol and norethisterone. This means that it not only replaces the oestrogen you lose during and after menopause, but it also replaces the hormone, progesterone. Studies suggest that this can help reduce the risk of some cancers in women with an intact uterus compared to other HRT options.

Evorel Conti patches are transdermal, which means you apply them to your skin. This makes them easy to use and more convenient than some other options, like daily tablets. It also means that the hormones can be absorbed directly into your bloodstream, which could reduce the risk of some of the side effects linked to oral HRT.

If you’re looking for a convenient and continuous way to manage your menopause symptoms, Evorel Conti may be a good fit. Complete a quick and easy consultation to find out if it’s right for you.

About Evorel Conti

Evorel Conti patches are a type of combined hormone replacement therapy containing both estradiol, which is a form of oestrogen, and norethisterone, a type of progesterone. This combination can relieve the symptoms of menopause while also reducing the risk of some cancers that are linked to oestrogen-only HRT. You apply the patches twice a week, and they deliver a continuous release of hormones, providing a convenient and effective alternative to daily tablets.

How Do Evorel Conti Patches Work?

Evorel Conti patches combine an artificial oestrogen with an artificial progesterone, and steadily release these through your skin. These hormones replace the ones your body stops making after menopause starts and this can help relieve the symptoms associated with menopause, like hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings. Because it also contains a synthetic progesterone, it protects the lining of your womb. This could help reduce the risk of some cancers if you still have your womb intact, compared to if you were using other types of HRT.

How To Use Evorel Conti Patches

You should apply your Evorel Conti patches to a clean, dry, and hairless patch of skin below your waist. Many people like to apply their patches to their bottom or one of their thighs. Change your patch twice a week on the same two days of the week, leaving no gap between patches. This means one patch will be on for three days and the next for four days, and so on. Always rotate the area you apply the patch to, and never apply it to broken or irritated skin.

Ingredients

The active ingredients contained in Evorel Conti patches are 3.2mg estradiol hemihydrate and 11.2mg norethisterone acetate. When used as directed, the patch will release 50mcg estradiol and 170mcg norethisterone each day.

Evorel Conti patches also contain some inactive ingredients, including Duro-Tak 387-2287, which makes the patch sticky, guar gum, and the backing film Hostaphan MN19.

Side Effects

As with all medicines, Evorel Conti patches can cause side effects. These don’t happen to everyone.

You may experience some or none of them. Potential side effects include skin irritation where you’ve applied the patch, being unable to sleep, feeling depressed, nervous or anxious, headaches, being aware of your heartbeat (palpitations), varicose veins, flushing, skin reddening, breast pain, numb or tingling hands or feet, feeling sick (nausea), diarrhoea, stomach ache, pain including pain in the back or joints, painful periods, discharge from the vagina, irregular, heavy or prolonged bleeding from the vagina, including after sex, water retention or build-up of fluid under the skin (oedema), feeling tired and weight gain.

Warnings

Evorel Conti patches are just one hormone replacement therapy option and may not be suitable for everyone. They won’t be right for you if you have or have ever had breast cancer, womb cancer, blood clots, stroke, liver disease, or unexplained vaginal bleeding. You should also avoid using Evorel Conti patches if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients. If you become pregnant while using these patches, remove the patch immediately and seek medical advice.

If you’ve ever had fibroids, endometriosis, migraines, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, or epilepsy, you have to let your prescriber know, as these could come back when using Evorel Conti. This just means you may need additional monitoring.

Please read all packaging and the Patient Information Leaflet before taking any new medicine and inform your doctor of medicines you are taking or intend to take.
