PanOxyl Acnegel 10% is a topical gel that effectively treats and manages acne. It contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide, an exfoliant with antibiotic properties. It absorbs quickly into the skin, killing the acne-causing bacteria. Suitable for adolescents and adults.

PanOxyl Acnegel fights breakouts through antibacterial action and a peeling effect; its gel base assists quick absorption into the skin. The active ingredient, benzoyl peroxide, is a keratolytic. This type of medication breaks down keratin, a protein that forms part of the skin structure. This reduces blackheads and whiteheads and helps unblock the sebaceous glands. It also prevents new pores from becoming blocked.

Benzoyl peroxide also kills acne-causing bacteria, Propionebacterium acnes. This bacteria produces wastes and fatty acids which irritate the sebaceous glands, causing inflammation and pimples.  By eliminating this bacteria, benzoyl peroxide helps control inflammation and leaves your skin feeling clean and non-oily.

The PanOxyl range offers effective treatment for acne and spots. All products contain benzoyl peroxide, an effective remedy for acne.
